Numaish 2026 to Begin on January 1 at Nampally

Hyderabad Dec 28 (PMI) The All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish, will be inaugurated on January 1, 2026, at the Numaish Grounds in Nampally. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will formally open the exhibition in the presence of other Ministers.

The annual fair, which will continue for 45 days, is expected to attract large crowds as around 1,050 traders from across the country participate, displaying a wide variety of products. These include readymade garments, handicrafts, footwear, imitation jewellery, cosmetics, dry fruits, home furnishings, furniture, and electronic goods.

Apart from shopping, visitors can enjoy food stalls and a dedicated amusement arena. A radio station at the venue will play old songs, adding to the festive ambience, said Sukesh Reddy, Vice President of the Exhibition Society.

The Exhibition Society has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Volunteers and security personnel will be deployed, while the police will post men and women constables and operate a control room at the venue. The fire department will also station fire tenders as a precautionary measure.

“Comprehensive security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incidents, and wide carriageways have been maintained to allow the movement of emergency vehicles,” Sukesh Reddy said.

The entry fee has been fixed at Rs 50 per person, while children below five years of age will be allowed free entry. (pressmediaofindia.com)
