Hyderabad Oct 11 (PMI): In a joint special operation the Team of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate and officers of Madhapur Zone have arrested (4) persons belonging to a notorious Interstate Criminal Gang of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand States. This gang has indulged in Ten (10) burglaries in houses during day time in the states of Telangana, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Police have recovered gold ornaments weighing 600 grams, Silver items weighing 02 KGs and two four wheelers. All Worth of Rs. Thirty-Five lakhs (35, 00,000).
The Police has arrested accused persons namely (i) Aditya Kumar, S/o. Jagveer Singh, Age: 34 Yrs, R/o. Nangala Katak (V) B. B. Nagar (Taluk), Bulandshar (District) U.P. State having RO water plant in his village (ii) Munniraj Rajaura @ Munniraj Rajola, S/o. Late Sri Balram Singh, Age: 47 Yrs, R/o Lane No.06, Amitgram, Gumaniwala Colony, Rishikesh, Dehradun (D), Utttarkhand State is a mechanic and stock broker (iii) Surendra Kumar Sharma, S/o. Late Sri Harirath, Age: 63 Yrs, R/o. Near Shiva Mandir, Vardhaman Colony, Kothwalidehath, Saharanpur District U.P. State doing real estate business (iv) Pankaj Chowdary, S/o. Rajendra Singh, Age: 32Yrs, R/o Potakabulpur(V), Bibinagar (Taluk) & (Thana) Bulandshar (District) U.P. State is a farmer.
The members of this criminal gang in regular days does their routine work and once in a year they leave their houses to commit theft and come towards South India. On their way, in the night hours they stay in luxurious hotels. Muniraj will search for the area to commit theft by seeing google maps at his stay place only. Then they start committing offences. They will come to their targeted area and park their car in front of apartments. Later, Aditya and Muniraj will enter into the apartments with a bag posing as purchasers of flats. If any flat is found locked then they will break it with a specially prepared rod and rob gold ornaments, silver items and also net cash. In this way, after committing offence in one place, they again move to another state and commit offences. They will change the vehicle number with the concerned states vehicles number during the offence and after committing crime and reaching to some distance, they again replace it with the original one.
Since 2015, the accused have committed several Day HBs in Telangana state, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Madhya Pradesh. They have committed offences in 10 Places (i) in Telangana Cyberabad Five (5) Cases, Sanga Reddy one (1) Case, Karimnagar One (1) Case, in Andhra Pradesh Ongole One (1) Case, in Tamilnadu Kancheepuram One (1) Case and in Madhya Pradesh Jabalpur One (1) Case.
The accused have become most wanted for the Police of Cyberabad and other states in property offences. To apprehend this gang the task was entrusted to Special Operation Team of Madhapur Zone. As such the Special Operation Team of Madhapur and Inspector, SOT Shamshabad have swung into action, made strenuous efforts to nab the offenders. While tracking these accused the teams have visited Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand states. On reliable information about the accused persons, SOT along with Bachupally Police went to Uttar Pradesh and arrested the accused persons at Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh on 30.09.2019 and after producing them before the concerned court, brought them to Cyberabad for further investigation.
The hard work done by the SOT Madhapur and Bachupally Police in arresting the offenders and detecting (10) property offences of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Madhya Pradesh states and seizure of the property worth of Rs. 35,00,000/- is highly commendable. All the Police personnel involved in this work will be awarded with suitable rewards.
