No Negligence in Duty Will Be Tolerated: Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar Warns

Hyderabad- (Shoukat-PMI NEWS) Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar IPS  has made it clear that strict action will be taken against police personnel who show negligence in their duties. He warned that even minor lapses will not be tolerated and, if necessary, suspension and other disciplinary measures will be imposed. He emphasized that maintaining peace and public safety is the primary responsibility of the police, and hence, officers must remain alert at all times.

During the crime review meeting held at the Commissionerate, Sajjanar issued key directives. He stated that every complainant who approaches a police station must be attended to immediately, and an FIR must be registered without delay. He warned that ignoring cases or understating the seriousness of crimes will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

To ensure effective monitoring of major cases, he announced the formation of a Central Investigation Team. He instructed officers to expedite long-pending cases and complete them at the earliest.

He further advised special focus on issues such as drugs, online gaming, cybercrime, women’s safety, street crimes, and food adulteration. He also instructed staff to treat women visiting police stations with courtesy and respect.
