Hyderabad, Dec.15 (PMI): The newly appointed executive working president of ruling TRS party has put an end to news reports that he would soon become Chief Minister of the State and added that his father and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would remain the CM for the next 15 years.
“There was no vacancy for the CM’s post for the next 15 years. I and all the workers and leaders of our party strongly feel that KCR remain in his CM’s post at least for the next 10 to 15 years. My elevation in the party does not mean that I would step into his shoes very soon,” he said replying to a question at the “Meet the Press” program here today.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR urged the media organizations to not write speculative stories on the issue as it would create confusion among his party cadre. He also refuted the media reports that his sister and Nizamabad MP Kavitha might be inducted into the State cabinet. He said KCR would take an active role in national politics by sitting in Hyderabad and reminded that former CM of Andhra Pradesh NTR also played an important role in national politics by sitting in Hyderabad.
