Hyderabad : In the joint operation, the Commissioner’s Task Force and Golconda police on Thursday nabbed a Nigerian drug peddler at Golconda Seven Tombs and recovered “Cocaine” from his possession. The sleuths seized 20 gram Cocaine, three Cell phones from the accused.
The accused was identified as Ugochukwchukwuebuka godpower alias Godpower, 25, a native of IMO State in Nigeria and residing at P&T Colony, Bandlaguda under Rajendra Nagar mandal.
Police said the accused came to India on a business VISA and doing garments export business. He uses one of their local dialects to communicate with one another and delivers drug to customers from Goa, Mumbai through drug peddlers. The accused procures Cocaine for Rs 2,000 from drug peddlers and sells the same @ Rs 5000 to 6,000 per gram to the consumers in Hyderabad.
Previously, the accused was arrested under NDPS Act byGolconda police and Banjara Hills police remanded him to judicial custody. Later, he was released from Chanchalguda Jail. After release from jail, he resumed supplying cocaine to his customers and agents on commission basis.
The arrest was made under the supervision of B. Limba Reddy, DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad by P. Balavanthaiah, Inspector and others.
