Hyderabad, Aug.27 : The TRS Government’s persistent efforts to get clearance from the central government of its new zonal system at last fructified with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attesting his signature on the concerned file on Monday.
It might be mentioned here that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been exerting pressure on the Centre to accord clearance for its new zonal system so that the state government could go ahead with the job recruitment process. He has personally taken up the issue with the Prime Minister on two occasions including during his current Delhi visit.
During his meeting with the Prime Minister on Saturday, the Chief Minister again broached the subject and explained the imperative need for central clearance so that the state government could commence the recruitment drive without any hassles. After hearing the Chief Minister on the subject, the Prime Minister assured to ensure clearance at the earliest.
Accordingly the Prime Minister signed the concerned file and forwarded it to the Ministry of Home Affairs to complete the required formalities to sending the file to President of India Ramnath Kovind for his signature. It is expected that the President would sign the file either late in the night today or early tomorrow after which the central gazette notification would be issued.
