Hyderabad, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today distributed cheques worth Rs 34 lakh to the family members of construction workers under unorganized sector.
At a program at his chambers in Secretariat, Narsimha Reddy said the State government was providing needed financial help to the working class during difficult times as well as for the welfare of their children. He said the Welfare Council has finalized the applications that sought help from the government. He distributed cheques of Rs 4.10 lakh to 15 persons towards maternity benefit, Rs 3.70 lakh to five members for natural death, Rs 25.10 lakh to four persons under accidental death and Rs 1.10 lakh towards marriage gift to four persons.
