The former premier, his wife Kulsum Nawaz, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and his son-in-law Captain Safdar vacated the PM House two days after a five-member bench of the Supreme Court unanimously found Nawaz unfit to hold public office and disqualified him for misdeclaring his assets in a landmark decision on the Panama Papers case.

On Friday, shortly after the apex bench announced the verdict that ousted Nawaz, the PM House had issued a notification saying that Nawaz, despite having “strong reservations” about the SC’s verdict, had stepped down from his post as the premier.
On Sunday, before he departed for Murree, Nawaz met with members of the staff at the PM’s House.
Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also met with the PM House’s staff before he left for Murree with the Sharif family.
