Hyderabad Dec 23 (PMI) Vikarabad District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, has said that better results in policing can be achieved only through mutual coordination among various departments and collective teamwork.
The District SP made these remarks while chairing a special meeting with police officers and staff from different departments at the District Police Office (DPO). During the meeting, she reviewed the performance of each department, examined pending files, and enquired about the difficulties faced by staff in the discharge of their duties.
Emphasizing discipline as the backbone of the Police Department, Smt. Sneha Mehra directed officers to maintain punctuality and act responsibly. She instructed that victims visiting the office should be treated with courtesy and that their grievances should be addressed promptly.
The SP stressed the importance of inter-departmental coordination and urged all personnel to work together like one family. She also called for systematic planning and fair distribution of work to reduce mental stress among staff engaged in continuous duties.
Encouraging the use of modern technology, she emphasized the need for transparency in police functioning and stated that a positive and pressure-free work environment would help deliver better services to the public.
