Hyderabad, Nov.4 (PMI): Caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today said the Muslim Minorities were solidly behind the TRS and help KCR retain power.
Addressing a Muslim Minority Garjana Sabha along with Harish Rao, Ali said TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao has offered deputy chief minister post to minority community. He said the TRS regime has also been offering financial support under overseas scholarship scheme to the Muslim students to pursue higher education in foreign countries. KCR regime has started residential schools for Muslims for their development to get jobs for better lives, he said. In turn, the Muslims will vote for the KCR leadership en masse, he observed.
Harish Rao said Gajwel was witnessing a rapid growth under KCR rule and upon coming to power the TRS will provide two bedroom housing for the Muslims. Development of Gajwel will be stalled if the Congress-led grand alliance was voted to power, he cautioned. Several welfare programs have been launched for the cause of the poor families by giving Rs 1.116 lakh for marriage of girls. He appealed to the people to give one lakh vote majority to KCR to remain as Chief Minister. (PMI)
