As the Assembly elections are approaching, Mushirabad constituency has become a hot seat for the BJP. The internal war between the two big leaders is going on regarding the assembly seat. While one is moving to give the ticket to the heiress, the other leader is trying to maintain his hold
Hyderabad’Oct 8 (PMI);The Musheerabad BJP ticket, which has become prestigious in the state, will lead to an internal feud between the two top leaders. One of those two big leaders is Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and the other is Rajya Sabha Member and BJP Parliamentary Board Member Dr. K. Laxman. As both of them are holding high positions, both the leaders are making concerted efforts to give their own constituency ticket using their clout, one to the heiress and the other to a key follower. It is reported that the distance between Dattatreya and Lakshman has increased due to this matter. Laxman, who recently met with Dattatreya, expressed his displeasure as there was a campaign going on in the party ranks of the constituency regarding this matter. It has become a topic of discussion that 36 leaders of that party applied for the MLA ticket if they were not elected under unexpected circumstances
Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who is a major supporter of the BJP, is taking steps to field his successor in the election this time. He is expected to field his daughter Vijayalakshmi from Mushirabad constituency where he resides. It is reported that Dattatreya, who has already started internal activities, and his daughter Vijayalakshmi have met and discussed with the senior leaders of the party as members of the divisions. It is learned that Dattatreya’s daughter Vijayalakshmi is asking the party leaders to help her win the ticket under any circumstances. Recently, she trusted her father, who is actively participating in many parties and other events, and staked a ticket. It is reported that Dattatreya has also requested the administration to give ticket to his successor as the governor’s tenure will end in another year.
It is reported that Dr. Laxman, who has been elected as a legislator twice from Mushirabad constituency, is trying to give the ticket to his main follower to maintain his hold. It is learned that the BJP leadership is suggesting that Laxman should stand in the assembly ring, but he is not interested in contesting. Laxman, who is currently a member of the Rajya Sabha from UP and a member of the BJP’s parliamentary board, does not want to contest the assembly elections. It is said that Laxman, who is not ready to give up his Rajya Sabha membership, is haunted by the fear that if he loses the assembly elections, it will become a bad joke for both. At the same time, he is bringing his main supporter to the fore for the Mushirabad seat.(PMI)
