During the interrogation, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman said that he did not want to leave the madrassa, so he issued an explanatory video statement. The madrassa administrators and dignitaries had asked him to leave the madrassa after the video.
According to police sources, the accused stayed with the students in Township, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad after the case was registered. The phone location of accused Aziz-ur-Rehman and his sons was traced. The accused was hiding in Mianwali when the police arrested him. According to police sources, accused Aziz-ur-Rehman stated that he was very ashamed of what he had done.

Police produced the accused in the court of Judicial Magistrate Rana Arshad Ali Khan in Kent Court and requested the court to remand the accused for 14 days.

Police produced the accused in the court of Judicial Magistrate Rana Arshad Ali Khan in Kent Court and requested the court to remand the accused for 14 days.
The Judicial Magistrate first reserved judgment on the application for police remand and later granted 4 days physical remand. After which the police took the accused from Cant Court and left. The accused were produced in court with their faces covered.
