Hyderabad, Feb.8 (PMI): IT and industries Minister KT Rama Rao today lashed out at the centre for deceiving people of the state and not responding to its pleas to address 19 issues, for schools, projects, funds, roads and support.
He accused the BJP government at the centre of failing to address issues of the state. Modi government has been negligent and adopting partisan attitude towards Telangana development, he charged.
The minister hit out at the Modi government for cheating people, women, youth. No jobs given to youth by the centre as it preferred to deny our appeals. He charged that the BJP government is noted for partiality turning a blind eye to our demands. Though we appeal to address about 19 issues of the state, Modi government is not ready to give clarity, he charged. CM KCR is spending huge funds for welfare about Rs 45000 Cr,, Rythu bandhu Rs 50000 cr and others. Our state focus is on welfare schemes and development programs. We implement Dalit Bandhu to give Rs 10 lakh to schedule caste families to empower. The centre should announce similar programs if it has guts, he challenged.
Despite Modi government denial we are in the forefront in multiple fields through various programs and schemes, he claimed. He opposed Modi government Comments in the parliament as the centre failed to implement bifurcation promises so far. The Centre is indulging in to cheating people, farmers and women.
KTR slammed the Centre for not responding to repeated appeals for funds, projects and timely response. He charged that Narendra Modi is against the farmers and people. Telangana state sought projects, institutions and funds from the centre and no response from it, he lamented.
He expressed concern that the Modi government denied funds, Navodaya schools, medical colleges, and projects to Telangana. KTR found fault that against the state interests, the centre gave 7 mandals to AP. He urged the Modigovernment to avoid partiality towards Telangana state and mend his ways to help for development. He slammed the BJP government for not giving national status to any water project, ITIR, steel factory, coach factory and others.
KTR alleged that Modi government denied Rs 24000 Cr recommended by Niti Ayog committee for mission bhagiratha and mission kakatiya schemes. The minister accused opposition parties of blaming the state government for mileage.
He asked the BJP, congress state leaders should stop falsehood. We are fast developing in all sectors despite centre failed to respond to our 19 issues, KTR said. (PMI)
