Hyderabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in Parliament on Motion of Thanks to President’s Address reflected his opportunistic attitude, Congress MLC P Sudhakar Reddy said.
Speaking at the Assembly Media Point here on Wednesday, Sudhakar Reddy flayed the /Prime Minister for stating that previous Congress government divided Andhra Pradesh State by closing the doors of Parliament and thereby lowered the sacrifices of Telangana martyrs. He also alleged that the TDP and BJP members entered into a match-fixing and obstructed Leader of Opposition Mallikarjuna Kharge’s speech on the assurances in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. He also alleged that the TRS MPs remained calm when TDP and BJP members obstructed Kharge from speaking.
The Congress leader also accused the TRS government of proroguing the Assembly only to escape from answering to political murders taking place in the State.
