Hyderabad, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to take an all-party delegation to the Centre and mount pressure on it to fulfill its assurances mentioned in the AP Reorganization Act.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ponguleti asked the Chief Minister as to why he kept silent while his AP counterpart was mounting pressure on the Centre to implement its assurances, especially special status to the truncated State. He also asked KCR to release a white paper on funds released by the Centre after formation of the State.
Ponduleti also faulted the State BJP leaders as to why they were not bothering about the interests of the State. He urged the State BJP leaders to mount pressure on the Centre with regard to the State interests. He also suspected a secret understanding between the TRS and BJP.
