Hyderabad, June 3 (PMI): The family members of Congress party MLA Seethakka were stopped by the city police today. The family members alleged that the DCP of Malkajgiri Rakshita Murthy did not allow them to go to a hospital despite a having a vehicle e-pass. They said that they were going to a hospital to donate plasma to the mother of Seethakka whose health condition got deteriorated after being infected with Covid virus. They said that they obtained the vehicle pass from Mulugu collector office to visit the city.
They alleged that the DCP had imposed fine on them by citing violation of ongoing lockdown rules. They said that the subordinates of the DCP allowed them to go to the hospital after the DCP left the area. The MLA has responded on the issue and tweeted and alleged that the DCP had misbehaved with her family members. She claimed that the DCP did not also talk to her despite the fact she made a video call to her. She alleged that the DCP had used abusive words against her family members. (PMI)
