Hyderabad, Oct.30 (PMI): BRS party MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy today said their fight with the ruling party was due to the petty politics of CM Revanth Reddy. He alleged that an attempt was being made to implicate him in the drugs case and added that a similar conspiracy was hatched against former minister KTR, but it failed miserably.
Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan here, Kaushik Reddy challenged CM Revanth Reddy to come forward for a drug test along with his party MLAs, MLCs, and MPs and added that all their party MLAs were waiting for the CM to undergo the drug test. “We haven’t been called so far. We are ready with the cans,” he said.
Kaushik Reddy said Revanth Reddy was saying that he would erase the name of former CM KCR and added the CM whether held any meeting without taking the name of KCR. He said KCR was the name that was attached to the hearts of the people of Telangana. Stating that Revanth Reddy has got a great opportunity as Chief Minister, he suggested that it should be used for doing good to the people. Padi Kaushik Reddy questioned whether even a single section was happy under the rule of CM Revanth Reddy.
“KCR is the only CM in the country who has spent Rs 2 lakh crore on farmers. What was Hyderabad like 10 years ago? How is it now?” he asked. Calling CM Revanth Reddy as Tughlaq CM, he mocked that there was no such chief minister in the country. (PMI)
