Hyderabad, July 29 (PMI): A strange and unexpected incident occurred in Vidyanagar TRT Colony under Nallakunta police limits during Bonalu festival on Sunday.
According to Nallakunta police, as part of the festival, the TRT colony devotees took out a procession (Palaharam Bandi). As the revelers were dancing to the drum beats excitedly and pulling the procession vehicle slowly, Nallakunta police sub-inspector Mahendar intervened and asked the revelers to move fast and complete the program early. At this juncture, one of the revelers, rushed towards the SI and planted a kiss on SI’s cheek. Shocked with this, the SI slapped the miscreant while others silently watched the scenes, which went viral in social media.
The Nallakunta police registered a case against the miscreant disturbing the SI from discharging his duties and launched a hunt for the culprit. (PMI
