Gajal Srinivas was taken into custody in Hyderabad on charges of sexually harassing a woman, working as jockey for a web radio ‘Alayavani’ (voice of temples) run by Save Temple Organization. He is the brand ambassador of the Save Temples movement.
“I am shocked after watching the leaked videos of Gajal Srinivas, who was seen in an objectionable manner”, 
Manikyala Rao said. It was a shameful, he said, adding that “I knew Gajal Srinivas since my childhood but saw only one side of the coin. On this basis, I had said that there was a conspiracy against the Gajal singer. But after watching the video of Gajal Srinivas, I was shocked and taking back my words”, Manikayala Rao said, adding that the police should take stern action against him.
