Hyderabad Jan 28 (PMI): Hon’ble Minister for Home Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali today inaugurated a new Buildings of Nampally L&O Police Station & Traffic Police station. Sri. T. Srinivas Yadav, Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry, Sri Jaffer Hussain Meraj, MLA Nampally, MLC Prabhakar, Sri Koleti Damodar and Dr. M. Mahendar Reddy IPS DGP TS have attended the program as Guest of Honors in presence of Sri Anjani Kumar IPS Commissioner of Police Hyderabad City.
Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Home Minister said I am very happy to open two police stations in Hyderabad City in Nampally area. The Telangana police system is the number one police system in India. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana is giving a lot of importance to the police department. In the past, people were afraid to go to the police station. But now there is no such situation. Police are interacting with the public through a friendly police system.
Further the Hon’ble Minister for Home said the police department is working hard to maintain peace and security. The police department has installed CCTV cameras in three commissionerates to curb crime. People from other states are also coming here to check the work being done by the Telangana Police Department. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has released special funds for the police department.
Sri M Mahendar Reddy, IPS DGP Telangana said we are happy to unveil two new police station buildings in Nampally area and our police system is a system that meets the needs of the people. The government has set up new police station buildings to have all the facilities to work for the people. The Telangana state Government has sanction new buildings 19 law and order police stations and 6 traffic police stations. We have implemented a single police system across the state. The Telangana Police Department has taken many precautionary measures for the safety of women.
Sri. Anjani Kumar IPS Commissioner of Police Hyderabad said that the Telangana Police Department has a good reputation in the Country. We are giving 50 types of services in the police department. There will be a single system in all police stations across the state of Telangana. Four persons have been given special training within each police station. They are working as receptionists. They are providing all kinds of assistance to the victims who come to Police Station. We are registering cases through Zero FIR method and responding immediately. We have received over 10,000 petitions through our Patrol Car vehicles and Blue Colts and also Receipts handed over to them door-to-door. The police department has been working for the last 7 years without any disturbance to peace and security. Hence many companies came to Hyderabad for investment purposes. The Command Control Office will also be completed soon. Through it, all the important departments work from the same close. The police did a lot of work even during the corona.
