Hyderabad, Sept. 14 (Shoukat-PMI): The Milad-un-Nabi procession was held peacefully in Hyderabad today, with thousands of participants marching through the historic Charminar area.
To ensure law and order, the Hyderabad City Police made elaborate security arrangements, which were personally supervised by Sri C.V. Anand, IPS, DG and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
As the procession reached Charminar, Commissioner Anand felicitated Muslim religious leaders including Hafeez Muzaffar, Syed Pasha, and others with garlands. He also extended greetings on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi and expressed gratitude to community leaders for conducting the procession in a peaceful manner. He said the celebrations stand as a reflection of Hyderabad’s Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb.
