Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s) is being celebrated with traditional fervor in various parts of the country today.
“Milad Mehfils” and “Seerat Conferences” will be held highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s). Milad processions are also being taken out to mark the occasion.
Some organizing committees have decided to cancel the processions in view of Ayodhya verdict by the Supreme Court to maintain peace and harmony. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the occasion.
