In Telangana, the met officials predicted heavy rains for two more days while most parts of the state received about 47 per cent excess rainfall during the current season. IMD Hyderabad Center Director Y K Reddy told our correspondent that about 75 per cent of area in Telangana likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the next two days.

The rainfall data shows that 25 districts received excess rainfall while 6 others received average rainfall during the current season. On an average, the state received 189 mms of rainfall against the normal 128 mms during the month of June this year
