Hyderabad Oct 21 (PMI): Confusion and Mayhem is being created in the Shia Community of Hyderabad by a group of people with vested interest. Many dignified personalities and educated youth are of the opinion that this mission is being supported to create unrest in the Shia community internally and trying to build up an opinion among the community members to stand against the establishment and thus exposing the community to collusion path with the Government.
Instigating the community members to go against the advice of the Government and nicknaming the commissioner of police Hyderabad Sri Anjani Kumar IPS as Moulana who is issuing “Fatawa”. A Misconception was created in the Shia community of Hyderabad through vilification of community representatives. The intelligentsia of the community belief that this particular group should be identified and their mission should be brought to the notice of the community and their backing should be curtailed and brought to the notice of the security agencies for prevalence of peace in the city among the Shia Community and maintain it’s exceptional perception of peace loving and law abiding community among the fellow citizens and in the eyes administration.
Safir TV, Sada e Hussaini and Hussaini TV run by its CEO Syed Jaffer Husain tried to create an atmosphere of discontent among the community members by inciting them against the advice of Commissioner of police Hyderabad City and trying to build an public opinion in the community that Commissioner of Police Hyderabad “Shri Anjani Kumar IPS” is over riding the Chief Minister and Home Minister and dictating the terms to the community on how to conduct Azadari in the Pandemic Covid-19 in the start of Muharram month. It even tried to portray the Commissioner of Police as “Moulana” who is now issuing Fatawa’s on the community on how to perform Azadari.
The advice of the Commissioner of Police to the Shia Community to observer Azadari in Pandemic by adhering to the protocols issued by the government were welcomed by the community but the CEO of Sada e Hussaini TV, Safir TV, Safir News and Editor Sada-e-Hussaini Newspaper Syed Jaffer Hussain since the beginning of Muharram 2020 is trying to rake up one or the other controversies by pitting the community on a collusion path with the various Government departments like Waqf Board, Municipal Corporation, Police Department and even questioning the functioning of the Telangana Government. Humiliating the Home Minister and trying to create a rift in the Home Ministry as, who is in-charge of the Law and Order in the City, Home Minister or Commissioner of Police Hyderabad?
It took almost four days for CEO cum Editor in Chief to understand the speech of the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad Sri Anjani Kumar, that in fact he had asked “Azadars not to go to the procession but perform Matam in Ashoor Khanas and in their respective homes in view of Pandemic Covid-19”. Till four days he created restlessness in the community and after community members counselling he understood the message and then said that CP has already told in the speech that Juloos of Alame Mubarak BIBI (s.a) will be there. But till then he tried to misguide the community against the persons who were invited in the meeting on 11th August 2020 stating that people presented in the meeting had said they will not do self-flagellation in the procession and he portrayed Government officials as “Marja” of the people who attended the meeting.
He is also creating the rift in the Community itself by degrading the community representatives through street hawker, imprudent self-proclaimed community leaders who first level baseless allegation on the provocation of the anchor of the Sada-e-Hussaini TV regarding the arrangement of Elephant and later on was forced to take back his blame when he was cornered with proof and documentation.
A neophyte leader of the Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) Mr. Inayat Ali Baqri who was invited to the Studio of Sada-e- Hussaini TV, Safir TV where he not only tried to mislead the community about the Telangana State Government G.O regarding the observation of Muharram during the Pandemic Covid-19 this year but also castigated and insulted his party’s Hon’ble Home Minister Sri Mahmood Ali. The Safir TV added spice to his views by giving the caption that “Chief Minister K. Chander Shekhar Rao has said that Juloos-e-Ashoora will be taken out”. This Novice leader who lives in his borough whole year comes out after sighting of the Muharram moon to exemplify their political ambitions in the community.
The image and status of the self-proclaimed “Big leader” of TRS party can be gauged by the community when the Government run by his party did not invite him as a community representative in the Muharram meetings organized by various Government departments and did not deem that he is capable.
The Shia Community need to understand the ulterior motives of the Media firms that are being run by Syed Jaffer Hussain i.e Sada e Hussaini TV, Safir TV, Sada-e-Hussaini Newspaper and Hussaini Channel being headed by him in various capacity. He is trying to propagate the ideology of a diverged group of Shia Community with their own views on Azadari and Matamdari being led by a Moualana who was ignored by all the mainstream Olama O Zakereen along with all the Matami Anjumans and Grouhaan of the Shia Itana Ashari community of Hyderabad, Telangana State.
