Hyderabad”Nov 6 (PMI) Four cases have been registered against former president of Hyderabad Cricket Association and Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin. It is known that he is facing allegations of massive corruption in HCA. Rachakonda Police registered four cases against Azharuddin in this matter. On the other hand, he approached Malkajgiri court for bail in four cases registered against him.
During his tenure as the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, Azharuddin was accused of a multi-crore goal malfeasance in the purchase of various equipment at the Uppal Stadium. A case has been registered against Azharuddin for misappropriating funds worth crores of rupees in HCA. The Rachakonda police registered cases against him under various sections after it was found that there were irregularities in the purchase of many equipments including fire extinguishers, cricket balls, bucket chairs and gym equipment.
