Hyderabad/Mancherial: A man was arrested on the charges of snatching a gold chain from a woman in Jannaram mandal centre on Thursday. Golden ornaments weighing 2 tolas and a motorbike were recovered from him.
Jannaram Sub-Inspector G Rajyavardhan said that Borlakunta Rajender from Rendlaguda village in Jannaram mandal was apprehended for stealing the golden chain belonging to Chintakindi Lavanya belonging to Danthanpalli village on October 3.
Rajender confessed to committing the crime to lead a lavish lifestyle. He admitted to snatching the chain by trailing the woman on a motorbike.
