Hyderabad, Feb.26 (PMI): BCs Rights Sadhana Samithi State general secretary Dhulipala Dhananjaya Naidu today called upon the backward classes people to make the BC round table conference scheduled to be held on February 28 a grand success.
Speaking to media persons along with State assistant secretary Chintakindi Kumaraswamy and Kadiyala Suresh at CPI State party headquarters Maqdhoom Bhavan in Hyderabad, he said the round table meeting had been convened at Raj Bahadur Gaur Hall in Himayatnagar of the city to discuss the issue of caste census along with the upcoming census of the country, share to be given to various communities in the legislatures and in the field of education and employment in proportion to their population.
He urged the 3.1% people, who did not take part in the caste census done by the Revanth Reddy government, to take part in it and added that the last date for the survey was February 28 while noting that it will help them in demanding reservation in local bodies and educational job opportunities as per the caste census as stated by the Revanth Reddy government. He demanded that the Central Government should immediately approve the proposal if it is sent to the Centre and that the Central Government should immediately do the caste census along with the general census.
