Hyderabad, Dec 1(PMI NEWS) A major fire broke out on Monday evening in the Chandanagar Police Station limits of Hyderabad. The blaze, triggered by a short circuit, spread rapidly through a cluster of huts in Jawahar Colony, completely destroying nearly 30 huts.
According to Sangareddy District Fire Officer Nageshwar Rao, workers engaged in the construction of the SBS Ample Homes apartment had set up temporary huts beside the site. Fortunately, no one was present inside the huts when the fire erupted, preventing a major tragedy.
Firefighters rushed to the spot upon receiving information and managed to bring the flames under control. Along with the huts, household belongings were also gutted in the fire, the DSO said. No casualties were reported in the incident. (pressmediaofindia.com)
