Major Fire Destroys Shops in Alwal, No Casualties Reported

Hyderabad’Oct 4 (PMI) A major fire broke out on Saturday in a row of shops at Alwal’s Lothkunta area, destroying property worth several lakhs. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

According to fire officials, the blaze originated in a cycle shop and quickly spread to six neighboring shops, causing significant damage to goods stored inside. Fire tenders rushed to the scene and successfully brought the fire under control. Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit in the cycle shop may have triggered the fire.

Alwal police assisted the fire department during the operation, and the area was temporarily cordoned off to facilitate firefighting. Local representatives also visited the site to assess the situation.(pressmediaofindia.com)
