Hyderabad, Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today launched
International Kite Festival and Sweet Festival at Parade Grounds here. Culture Minister Chandulal, Council Chairman Swamy Goud and officials were present. Sporting hats, Ali, Chandulal and Swamy Goud participated in the festival by flying some kites at the packed parade grounds. On the occasion Ali said that the Kite festival is being celebrated on a grand note. A large number of kites will be decorating the skies as foreign and domestic delegates attend the event. The people can enjoy the festivities and have taste of 1000 varieties of sweets at the stalls he said. Kites in multiple colours and sizes were cynosure on the occasion.
