Hyderabad, October 6 (PMI) Hyderabad District Prohibition and Excise Deputy Commissioner Anil Kumar Reddy has directed officials to provide applicants for liquor shop licenses with detailed information on shop reservations and liquor sales for the past two years.
At a review meeting held at Abkari Bhavan in Nampally with SHOs, SIs, and enforcement teams from Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Reddy emphasized that excise staff must assist applicants properly during the application process, ensuring no errors. Officials were also instructed to verify if applicants received receipts and entry passes and to guide new applicants effectively.
Additionally, it was mandated that the number of applications received for each shop be displayed daily at the counters. The Deputy Commissioner also stressed increased surveillance on unauthorized liquor sales and a focus on preventing excise-related offenses.
