Hyderabad,  Telangana Lingayat Samithi president Ashok has said a public meeting with five lakh Lingayats will be organized in the State capital very soon.

Addressing the Telangana Lingayats Coordination Samithi meeting held at Bowenpally Gayatri Gardens on Monday, Ashok thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for allocating Rs 10 crore for Basaveshwara Bhavan to be constructed in the State capital. He also appealed to the State government to give autonomous status to Lingayat Dharma. Karnataka State minister MB Patil and several Lingayat leaders attended the meeting
