Hyderabad’Oct 08 (Liyaqat -PMI) With the Diwali festival approaching, the police are on high alert. The Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates have issued orders making it mandatory for all firecracker shops to obtain licenses.
Temporary stalls set up to sell firecrackers must also obtain licenses, as per the Explosives Act, 1884, and the Explosives Rules, 1983 (amended in 2008). The Zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police will issue these licenses.
