Mohammad Bahuddin alias Javeed (53) from Adilabad district is a senior assistant in the forest department. However, he was suspended in a case (in 2014) while working in the Utnuru range office. Since then, Bahuddin, who faced financial difficulties, became a real estate broker in order to earn some easy money. In this process, he came in contact with Salman, who was an expert in committing various types of frauds. Besides training Bahuddin on how to cheat with duplicate notes, he also introduced Andresen (37) of Nizamabad through him. While Andreson, Maggidi Kishan (27) from Nirmal district is working as a taxi driver at the RGIA airport.
Meanwhile, Bahuddin, who had been trained in duping people with duplicate notes, told Anderson about this and motivated him to make easy money. Agreeing to this, Andresen also convinced his fellow driver Kishan. In this process, three together identified fraudsters who circulate fake notes. It is believed that they have a large amount of fake notes and will supply fake notes to original notes in the ratio of 1:3. According to this agreement, Bahuddin and Andreson gave Manoranjan’s duplicate notes in their possession to the other gang, believing them to be fake notes. Before the other gang can check the currency, a man named Kishan comes from behind in a police dress blowing a whistle.
As a result, the other gang who came to buy fake notes run away from the place fearing that the police will come. Later, these three accused will take the original currency together. In this order, on 21st of this month, the three accused bought the currency of Manoranjan Bank in Begambazar of the city. Later, it was believed that if a person is given original currency, they will be given fake currency in the ratio of 1:3. While trying to exchange currency at Sitara Grand Hotel in LBnagar, LBnagar SOT Inspector Sudhakar, who was conducting inspections there, along with the local police arrested three accused. 60 lakh Manoranjan Bank currency (duplicate currency) along with three original 500 notes, cellphones and an Ertiga car were seized from the accused. In the past, Bahuddin had also committed such frauds in Maharashtra, Nizamabad, Nirmal and Rachakonda, police revealed.(PMI)
