KTR’s Plea to Party Leaders to Make Panchayat polls unanimous

Hyderabad, Jan.3 (PMI): TRS Working President KT Rama Rao today appealed to the party workers and local leaders to make unanimous the panchayat polls in all villages in Rajanna Siricilla district. The government will offer Rs 10 lakh cash incentive to each of the villages that unanimously elect their panchayats,  he said. He also announced to give Rs 15 lakhs from his MLA funds to such panchayats which will elect the Sarpanchas and ward members unanimously.
He was addressing an extended meeting of the TRS leaders and workers in his Assembly segment here on Thursday. The former minister wooed the leaders to contest in the zilla parishat, mandal parishat and society elections. Those who do not get chance now to contest the panchayat polls will sure contest other local bodies polls, he assured. Taking the inspiration of Lakshmipur Thanda,  other villages in Siricilla should win unanimously the panchayat bodies.
The TRS had to lose 10 seats with 4000 votes difference in Assembly polls due to allocation of truck symbol to other candidate, he said. Stating that the party activists are oxygen for the TRS, the working president said that it is election year and the segment voted TRS party with 71 per cent of votes. KCR retained power by advancing the Assembly polls and got complete mandate of the people of Telangana. The congress alliance failed to win the fray in the Assembly polls. Despite AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi, AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chairman Amit Shah and several central ministers and CMs of other states addressing public meetings in the polls,  the people rejected the grand alliance and the BJP. Thus the people are with KCR and all other states are following our welfare schemes,  he said. The people of the state have rejected the BJP, Cong and TD and will do so in future polls, Rama Rao predicted. Entire nation is appreciating KCR rule and welfare schemes,  he said.(PMI)
