Hyderabad, Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao sought a report in week days on the Musi River development with roads, and beautification works. He held a meeting with officials on Gandipet lake and Musi river and asked a joint action committee of water works, PCB and TSIIC. He said that a new design competition will be launched for Musi beautification, STPs, development works, bridges and related works. Discussing on express ways, elevated sky-ways KTR said that feasibility study is over and hydraulic survey is getting completed. The Government has big plans to beautifully develop Musi river and steps should be taken for regular flow of waters and 
construction of bridges and beautification works. The minister said that the design competition will take suggestions from local people on beautification and take advices from world class institutions.
