Hyderabad, May 22 (PMI): Municipal Minister K T Rama Rao who used to help those in need has offered work to a couple facing problems on losing job in the Corona period and lockdown.
The minister immediately responded to a Twitter appeal by one Imran in this regard who gave them shelter at Gandhi Nagar earlier.
On seeing the couple under the culvert at Chilakalaguda near Secunderabad railway station, Imran convinced them and shifted to Fathedar building in Gandhi Nagar.
Krishna Rao lost his driver post in a local National School which was closed due to Corona pandemic. With this he failed to pay rent at Begumpet basthi and the owner shown the doors on May 19. As there was no other go, the couple had to fight for life and found place at the culvert compelled by lockdown and corona cases.
On finding them at the culvert Imran who was passing by managed to shift them to Gandhi Nagar in the city. He offered temporary shelter to the couple at Fathedar building in that area. Then he got an idea and tweeted to the minister for help.
In turn KTR responded and ensured jobs to the couple. The minister instructed Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar and Begumpet DCP to help the couple get protection.
Taking cue from the minister, Anjani Kumar spoke to a cargo construction company and offered a driver job and a sweeper work to his wife. (PMI)
