Hyderabad, March 1 (PMI): Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy today alleged that CM Revanth Reddy was not able to implement the guarantees given to the people of Telangana and added that the CM was making false allegations against him personally. “The CM is speaking irresponsibly and contrary to the facts. I deny the allegations levelled against me in sanctioning and allocating funds for projects related to the States. The BJP does not do politics to win or provoke,” he said.
Kishan Reddy said their slogan was to develop the country and the State and added that if non-BCs were winning 30 out of 50 per cent of the seats reserved for BCs in 150 corporations in Hyderabad, the BJP would fight for their rights on the basis of population while noting that this is the real face of CM Revanth.
Addressing media persons at the State BJP office on Saturday he said he had been explaining to the people on several projects on the development of Telangana. “In the last 10 years, we have been implementing several Central schemes effectively. Some of the Central government schemes were not implemented as the State government did not cooperate. Crop insurance and Ayushman Bhava schemes,” he said.
He said the Central government’s schemes were being implemented effectively in the State. “In the 100 days that the Congress party promised to implement in 14 months, it has completely failed to implement six guarantees and 320 sub-guarantees. There was opposition from all sections of the people. To cover it up and to divert the attention of the people, the CM is being counter-attacked and false allegations are being made against me. The infighting in the Congress party today and the dissatisfaction with the CM is clearly visible in the way he speaks. Just because he blackmailed me, threatened the BJP and told lies, it will not remove the Opposition to him,” Reddy said.
He said there was no situation where any community can take CM Revanth Reddy’s words seriously that nothing has been implemented if they believe in many promises and vote. Talking in a big voice does not solve the problems. People have already seen what we have done in Telangana in the last 10 years. Rs 10 lakh crore was spent at RTC Kalyana Mandapam and Pingali Bhavan,” he said. He said they had apprised the Centre of national highways, railway projects, Central offices, schools and infrastructure and had taken a decision to ensure development. (PMI)
