Hyderabad, Dec.1 (PMI): The Telangana BJP has released a charge sheet against the Congress’ one-year rule in Telangana State in the name of “The fraud of Congress guarantees’ six lies and 66 frauds. Union Minister and State BJP president G Kishan Reddy released the charge sheet along with BJP leaders at Somajiguda in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said the Congress government had not fulfilled any of the promises made to the people in the last year. “Not a single section is happy with the Congress rule. The previous BRS government had completely failed in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the State,” he said and added that the Congress came to power by making baseless promises after the 10-year-long corrupt rule of the BRS party.
He claimed that CM Revanth Reddy had convinced the people that he would come to power on December 7 and waive off farmers’ loans on December 9. “But why is the State government celebrating the victory without implementing the promises made during this one year? People are surprised to see Congress victory celebrations and crores of rupees being spent on victory celebrations. Unlike other parties, we are not criticizing irresponsibly, we have given a one-year deadline to the government and questioned the government’s failure in terms of works that would have been started within a year along with the works that were promised to be implemented within 100 days.,” he said.
He alleged that the Congress government had stabbed the people in the back and added that they were only putting the failures of the ruling party in front of the people. “In the name of guarantees and declarations, those issues which convinced the respective communities are being released in the form of a chargesheet on behalf of the people of Telangana. If anti-people policies are questioned, illegal cases, arrests, and lathi-charges are being carried out. There is no difference between 10 years of BRS rule and one year of Congress rule. We got an equal number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections with the Congress, so as the main Opposition party, it is our responsibility to question the government on behalf of the people. It will take two days to criticize the promises made by the Congress. The loan waiver is incomplete. In the name of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the State government has backstabbed the farmers of the State,” he alleged. He said the BJP had criticized the BRS and the Congress parties for their looting. “In the charge sheet, it has been alleged that the rulers have changed, but the governance and the lives of the people have not changed,” he said.
