The birthday of Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao is going to be a grand affair here at Hyderabad, with many TRS Leaders participating in the celebrations. TRS working president K T Rama Rao, former Minister T Harish Rao, MP K Kavitha and other top leaders including MPs, MLAs and MLCs, will be participating in the celebrations.
Former Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the one responsible for arrangements has said that besides performing special homams, the party cadre will participate in health camps and other programmes in Hyderabad including large-scale celebrations at Jalavihar on the occasion.
After reviewing the arrangements at Jalavihar on Monday, Srinivas Yadav told media persons that three homams — Ganapati Homam, Ayush Homam and Chandi Homam would be performed praying for the well-being of the Chief Minister, at Sri Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad commencing from 9 am on Feb 16 (Saturday). Apart from this a health camp is to be held at Hamali Basthi in Padmaraonagar. Celebrations will mostly include dance forms of Gussadi and Chindu Yakshaganam to represent Telangana’s culture.
“Special stalls will be put up at the venue to explain various schemes which are the Chief Minister’s brainchild such as Rythu Bandhu, Shaadi Mubarak/Kalyana Laxmi, Aasara pensions, Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha among others. A photo exhibition of the Chief Minister with photographs from his childhood and separate Statehood movement, will also be held. In a way, we will be paying tribute to the Chief Minister who achieved separate State and also placed it among top States,” he said. Two songs, explaining the welfare and development programmes in the State, also will be released on the occasion.
