Hyderabad, Dec.23 (PMI): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his spouse Shoba and family members today participated in “Rajashyamala Yagam” and took the blessings of Swamy Swarupanandendra, Pontiff of Sharada Peetham in Visahkaapatnam. KCR couple reached Vizag in a special flight from Begumpet, at 11 am and went to the peetham in the afternoon. They were given traditional ‘Purnakumbha reception’ by the peetham priests and officials.
K Chandrasekhar Rao and family have participated in special pujas at the Sharada Peetham on the occasion. Swamy Swarupanandendra blessed the KCR family, and the priests offered them theertha prasadams as part of the ritual. The TRS president and family had lunch at the peetham and then drove to Bhuvaneshwar in the evening as per schedule. KCR has begun his tour to form a federal front against congress and BJP at the centre to bring qualitative changes in national politics.
As soon as he reached Vishaka Airport, a large number of people and followers have shouted Jai KCR slogans and given his a rousing reception, even as the TRS president waved his hand in turn. He was welcomed with garlands, bouquets and slogans. KCR will meet with his Odisha counterpart Navin Patnaik in the evening at Bhubhaneshwar, the capital of Odisha as part of getting his support for the federal front.
