Sangareddy, May 23 (PMI): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reiterated his invitation to K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Leader of the Opposition and former Chief Minister, to participate in the Assembly session and engage in discussions regarding issues that concern the people.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the Opposition Leader has a responsibility to provide input and address any errors made by the government.
Revanth Reddy warned that if the Opposition Leader chooses not to attend the Assembly session, the voters will respond accordingly. “As a representative of the people, it is essential for the Opposition Leader to always support their concerns,” he stated.
The Chief Minister declared, “I will always stand by the people, regardless of election results. I have never exhibited arrogance since becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana. I engage with everyone, without regard for their social status. I will not rest until I have developed the state and dedicated my efforts to the people,” said the Chief Minister during a public meeting in Pastapur village near Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district on Friday.
Recalling the services of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the Chief Minister said that the friendliness and cordial relations maintained by Indira Gandhi with the Medak district were strong and inseparable.
“Medak is synonymous with Indira Gandhi, as everyone remembers the district when people discuss the former PM’s legacy. Congress party’s invincible leader Indira Gandhi remained as the Medak MP until she breathed her last,” he said.
Revanth Reddy emphasised the completion of the development of NIMZ (National Investment and Manufacturing Zone) in Medak, which was stalled in the last government. He said that after the Congress government came to power, the government had expedited the land acquisition and also increased compensation to the displaced under the NIMZ project.
“It is a delightful moment that Hyundai Car Manufacturing Company will start work here soon, the government has sanctioned 5,612 Indiramma houses to the displaced of the NIMZ. Congress leader Jagga Reddy is entrusted with the responsibility of handing over the houses pattas to the beneficiaries and providing them with livelihoods. The officials will take necessary action to grant Indiramma houses to those families,” Revanth Reddy said.
He further stated that the government will earmark adequate funds for the development of Zaheerabad Assembly Constituency.
“I will speak politics only during the election period and move forward for the development of the state along with all,” he said.
The Chief Minister also assured that the government will allocate necessary funds for Narayankhed development and move forward with the comprehensive development of Medak district.
As part of his visit to Sangareddy district, the Chief Minister earlier unveiled the statue of Sri Basaveshwara Maharaj at Huggelli village in Zaheerabad mandal. He also laid foundation stones for the development works at the cost of Rs 494.67 crores at Pastapur.(pressmediaofindia.com)
