KCR promises implementation of Dalit Bandu for entire Dharmapuri constituency

Hyderabad, Nov.2 (PMI): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday announced that the State government would implement the Dalit Bandu scheme for the entire Dharmapuri Assembly constituency on par with Huzurabad Assembly constituency  if the BRS voted to power.

Addressing the public meeting at Dharmapuri in Jagtial district on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the Telangana State has emerged as a role model for the entire country for successfully grounding the income-generating scheme for the economic upliftment of the Dalits under the Dalit Bandu and promised that the BRS government, after coming to power, would offer the Dalit Bandu units to the entire SCs of Dharmapuri constituency.

Earlier,  the Chief Minister addressed another two public meetings at Nirmal and Balkonda.

At Nirmal meeting, the Chief Minister said even though India got the Independence  75 years ago, the maturity of democracy has not yet come in the country. Those countries who have achieved the maturity of democracy are moving forward and they are many times ahead compared to India, he pointed out.

He said the BRS government has fulfilled the wishes of Nirmal area and created a separate district.  “Because of the district collectorate at Nirmal, the administration has reached the door steps of the people and the district got a  new medical college, KCR said.

At Balkonda meeting, the BRS president has found fault with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for stating that the Dharani portal will be abolished if the Congress party  voted to power.

“Rahul Gandhi doesn’t have any knowledge about the agriculture and the problems of farmers. The Congress party has never worked for the welfare of farmers in the past and it will not work in the future. Telangana will go back into the dark days if the Congress voted to power,” KCR cautioned. (PMI)
