Hyderabad, Reacting on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s criticism against him, TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram stated that KCR language and the way he spoke were provocative. KCR spoke against democratic values, he added.
Speaking to the media at TJAC office here on Saturday evening, Kodandaram said KCR was criticizing him personally because the latter was not in a position to answer to the problems facing by the people. He said he was leaving the remarks made against him by KCR to the latter’s wisdom. He said formation of Telangana state was not just because of a single person. The Telangana State was formed because of united efforts of Telangana society.
He said the Telangana state was not achieved for the sake of power for a few people and there was a need to fulfill the aspirations of the movement. He said that the JAC was moving forward with the aims of movement. He alleged that KCR government was behaving similar to previous united Andhra Pradesh governments. He also alleged that the party defections were still continuing in separate Telangana State. Purchasing of MLAs was still continuing even in Telangana State. There was no peoples’ participation in the government, he said and alleged that the Chief Minister didn’t go to Secretariat and the people will not go to Pragathi Bhavan.
He alleged that the land grabbing, illegal sand transport was going on in the State indiscriminately. He claimed that the KCR has utterly failed in controlling corruption and irregularities. He said the JAC was striving for Telangana culture and asked people to see JAC in view of social angle. Day by day, the government was distancing the people from education and health, he said and alleged that the patients were facing hardships in government hospitals due to non-availability of required facilities.
The State government was not releasing funds to education and health, he alleged and said the government was not concentrating on education and health sector though several irregularities were taking place.
