Hyderabad, Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao and Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy today vied with each other in praising Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao at a program here today.
When the MP said K Chandrashekhar Rao emerged as No 1 Chief Minister in the country for launching historic welfare schemes, KTR intervened to say that Malla Reddy was No 1 Member of Parliament in Telangana. This led to laughter among the leaders and people attended the meeting.
Launching a drinking water reservoir at Sahebnagar near Vanasthalipuram here today, Malla Reddy praised that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been giving top priority for drinking water facility in the twin cities, irrigation projects and welfare in the State. “Only our chief minister was doing such great programs for the cause of the people and common man”, he maintained. With the construction of adequate number of drinking water tanks and reservoirs, water problem will be solved permanently, he said, adding that the people would get drinking water every day after March this year.
Stating that the State was making rapid strides in all sectors under stewardship of Chief Minister KCR, Malla Reddy explained that agriculture sector was getting 24-hour power supply, supplying drinking water and roads without potholes and glitches, he said. He also pointed out that the people of the city got the much-awaited Metro Rail facility and Hyderabad will become No 1 in the country.
