KCR meets Modi, discusses about pending issues of Telangana
Hyderabad, Dec.26 (PMI): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. On becoming Chief Minister for second time and taken up tour for formation of Federal Front, KCR met Modi at the latter’s Kalyan Marg residence.
During discussions with Modi, the Telangana Chief Minister urged Modi to speedily fulfill the promises enshrined in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act of 2014. The issues prominently discussed, include bifurcation of Hyderabad High Court and releasing a related Gazette, assets division under 9 and 10 schedules among and returning of the five building blocks and heads of departments in the Secretariat to Telangana Government. KCR is learnt to have discussed about hike in reservations, immediate permission for land for new secretariat at Bison Polo grounds, expansion of Rajiv highway, defence lands and others. (PMI)
