Hyderabad, Birthday of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be celebrated in a grand manner at Jala Vihar on Neckclace Road on February 17 , Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav has said.
In this connection, the minister made a visit to Jala Vihar and inspected the arrangements for the program. Speaking to media persons, he said elaborate arrangements are being made for the Chief Minister’s birthday. MP Kavitha will attend “Chandi Homam” at Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on Saturday at 9 am, he said. TRS General Secretary Santhosh Kumar will distribute tricycles to the physically challenged, he said. Foundation laying ceremony will be conducted at Chacha Nehru Nagar with Rs 2.46 crore for 265 units in Banslalpet division.
Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy, Excise Minister Padam Rao Goud, Mayor B Rammohan, MLC M Hanmantha Rao will attend a program to cut cake to mark the occasion. Sarojini Eye Hospital Superintendent Ravindra Goud will supervise blood donation and health camps through Osmania, Gandhi hospitals. Corporators will conduct the birthday of KCR at their respective wards.
Cultural programs will be conducted as part of the occasion medical camps, blood donation camps will be conducted he said. The minister also said that to mark the birthday of the chief minister who is driving the state to be a golden Telangana we will distribute clothes to poor, tricycles to physically challenged and hand sticks to the blind and sarees to the women on the occasion. The cultural artistes will enthrall the audiences at a special program at Jala Vihar he said. The ministers, MLAs, MLCS and corporators will be participating in the celebrations.
