Hyderabad, June1(Press media of india): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to honour the winners in the international sports events recently and brought laurels to the Telangana State world over. The State government announced Rs 2 crore cash prize each to Nikhat Zareen for clinching Gold medal in the recently held Women’s world Boxing Championship in Turkey and Esha Singh, who won gold medal in ISSF Junior World Cup Shooting event in Germany.
On the instructions of Chief Minister KCR, the government has issued orders in this regard. Apart from cash prize, the government also decided to allot residential plots to the two sports persons at Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills as announced by Chief Minister, the Telangana Government issued orders to present Rs one Crore cash award to Kinnera Metla Artiste Padma Shri Darshanam Mogulaiah. On the request of Padmashri Mogulaiah, the State government has taken a decision to allot a residential plot in BN Reddy Nagar colony. (PMI)
