Hyderabad, June 26 (PMI): A team of PRTU teachers today said that the Government agreed not to conduct physical or regular classes for schools and educational institutions from July 1 for students amid Corona pandemics.
Online classes will be conducted as the government agreed to the teachers said. The teacher’s union met with chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan here and urged against the classes as that will lead to spread of corona problems.
KCR agreed to our appeal, and we thank the government, they said. The government recently announced to restart the classes for schools and educational institutions from July 1 as the cases came down.
However, the parents are not willing to send their children to attend classes physically. They fear that the reopening of the schools and educational institutions and colleges will add to Corona woes. The teachers of PRTU appealed to the chief minister to postpone the same for some time.
Later they told media persons that the Chief Minister agreed to cancel regular classes and online classes will be allowed.
