Hyderabad, Nov. 15 (PMI): Telangana Jagruti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Saturday criticized BRS leaders, including K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and T. Harish Rao, during her “Jagruti Janam Bata” program in Medak district. She alleged that the BRS has become confined to social media, which led to its defeat in the Jubilee Hills by-election, and urged KTR to step out of virtual platforms and engage with people directly.
Kavitha claimed thousands of BRS cadres were already in touch with Jagruti, emphasizing her party’s goal of achieving a “social Telangana.” She accused BRS leaders of increasing personal wealth rather than strengthening the cadre and promised that Jagruti would act as the main opposition in Telangana.
She also criticized the previous BRS government for altering the Regional Ring Road alignment to benefit senior leaders, demanded fair compensation for farmers, highlighted neglect in Medak’s Kaleshwaram project, and accused the current Congress government of injustice in Group-I recruitment.
